I had a blast meeting students at Orientation night, and today was a great first day back to school! We learned procedures for common areas, including how to navigate the cafeteria and recess. Our first special for the school year (for our homeroom class) was the computer lab with Ms. Ruiz, and it looks like we're going to learn a lot about how to use technology responsibly and creatively!
We also had a brief time to try out our new schedule, so students rotated through their class periods for about 20 minutes each. I can't speak for other teachers, but in Language Arts, we will be using Class Dojo. Please get signed up through this link. You can either search for me, or I will be handing out class codes tomorrow during our first "normal" class period.
Things that went home in the Take-Home Folder (black):
- Three sheets from the nurse (white, yellow, coral): The yellow and coral sheets must be signed and returned. The white one is for your information and can stay home.
- Blue breakfast and lunch menu
