FALL UPDATE

It's unbelievable that the first quarter of the school year is almost over.  It feels like just yesterday I was shaking hands with the students for the first time on Orientation Night!

Some memorable moments so far:

First CIS Assembly - We had an assembly with all 5th graders in the school.  Some members of the high school football team and cheerleading squad came to add some school spirit to the mix!  Mr. Wagner also showed us a video from the GoPro he had on the 1st day of school.  It was a fantastic way to kick off the school year.

Camp Day with Camp Eberhart counselors - What a great day for outdoor games and activities!  The weather was fantastic, and we learned about Native Americans, wildlife in the stream behind our school, and how to work as a team. :)

First Fog Delay -  I don't remember (in my 3 short years of teaching at Concord) ever having a fog delay so early in the school year.  This usually requires some rearranging in the schedule, and our students adapted like champions!

So far, we're off to a great start, and I look forward to discussing your student's progress at Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 25-26.
